At Meiden America Switchgear, we build high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers—equipment that helps interrupt electrical current and protect the power grid.
Our dead tank vacuum circuit breakers use dry air for insulation, eliminating the need for SF₆ or other greenhouse gases as the insulating medium.
Meiden has pioneered vacuum interrupter technology since the mid-1960s. That history of innovation continues in the equipment our team builds today.
